Gail opened Ideal Tile of Stamford in 1998. Her mission from day one has been to provide exceptional products and service. She values getting to know homeowners and finding just the right fit for their individual tastes. She has also built strong relationships with many local builders and designers who swear by her expertise.
Lee Handelman
Owner
From countertops to grout, Lee is able to guide you to the right design decisions. He works hard to understand your particular vision for a project and bring it to fruition. He loves helping with the selection and design process. Lee keeps the showroom updated with the latest tile and stone products.
Franco Viola
Owner of Ideal Stoneworks
Franco started off as an apprentice under a master stone fabricator in Italy. After moving to the United States, he continued to work in stone fabrication. In 2003 he partnered with Gail and opened Ideal Stoneworks in Stamford. Franco personally oversees the entire process, from templating to installation.
Anne Lund
Sales and Design
Anne has worked in interior design sales for 25 years. She started in textiles and moved into tile sales in 2003. She has a keen eye for color and texture and a wide base of product knowledge.
Piper
Shop Dog
Piper joined the team in 2014. A rescue from Tennessee, Piper brings her southern charm to our showroom. She’s usually curled up under the desk but always comes out to greet customers.
